Mission:"To end the Cycle of local and global poverty." Vision: The community standing together as one to help make the world a better place both locally and globally, with music and in peace.
Rock for Hunger was started by a group of students at the
University of Central Florida. With the passion of making a
difference in the community, and changing people's life, these
students choose music as their driving force of getting the
community involved to end poverty. Their community is the city
where they reside, and the world in which they live. Starting city by
city, state by state, country to country, and continent to continent,
this group hopes to inspire people of all cultures to join them with
music and in peace, and end the growing problem of poverty. Only
by everyone working together we can make the world a better
place. Through a series of benefit concerts, we hope to raise
awareness about local and global Hunger & Homelessness, and
end poverty. Music gets people together, music can send a
powerful message, and music can spread peace.
Goals:
Spread the message of Rock for Hunger to our local community’s
one city at a time.
Start Outreach groups helping the poor in our community’s, and
working with the local governments in peace, to solve the growing
problems of poverty.
Begin International projects, working with partner agencies to help
end extreme poverty in foreign counties.
Continue spreading our message, and getting people involved in
bettering our communities with Music and Peace!
The only way we can make a difference in the world is by working together.

Hey Guys, It's awesome what you're doing! Great page, great vision... thank you far adding me! I'm not sure if you're Christian or not, but what you're doing is very Christian. When we stop looking out for ourselves and start looking out for others it's amazing how well looked after we become. Keep fightin the good fight! Peace, Erik
You guys are doing a great thing! Its always awesome to see there always being a helping hand held out to those who need it. "He had this idea. It was kind of a virologist idea. He believed that you could cure racism and hate... literally cure it, by injecting music and love into people's lives. When he was scheduled to perform at a peace rally, a gunman came to his house and shot him down. Two days later he walked out on that stage and sang. When they asked him why - He said, 'The people, who were trying to make this world worse... are not taking a day off. How can I? Light up the darkness.'" -WILL SMITH (I Am Legend)
