MySpace a place for friends

- I am one of these people that everyone recognises but very few actually know.

- I'm in equal parts charming and tactless. Figure that one out!

- I have a very absurdist sense of humour

- And I like to have a wild time!

- I love music and I like to play anything I can get my hands on really! My first instrument is piano. I can play you a song on guitar, you might even think it's quite good - but actually I'm using a sophisticated deception technique called "faking it" :)

I write songs and lyrics (apparently quite good at it) and I'd like to compose orchestral music but it's hard!!

- I also want to sell pop songs. That might sound ghey and sell-outish coming from an awesome rocker like me, but actually I love catchy melodies and vocal lines. I was to write pop music which is sophisticated musically and lyrically... Like Tears For Fears for the 21st century, oh yeah baby!

- I'm writing a musical with a friend, it's a sci-fi comedy rock opera epic extravanganza! Hopefully on towards the end of the year - Watch this space! :-D

- I love rock music and classical and a lot of diffent styles. Some of my favourite music is from The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky and one of my favourite song writers is Roland Orzabal from Tears For Fears. My other favourite band is Queen, and I think Billy Joel rocks the piano! Electronic music is also wicked cool, well, the good stuff anyway.

- My other main interest is environmentalism, Yes, I'm a big nature-loving hippy. I'd like to get active hugging I mean planting Trees with the charity Trees For Life and I'm also into shit like the Rainforest Action Network and British Soil Association.

- I'm not the best anything in the world.

- But I might be the worst at art!! I suck so badly I can't even draw - it's pathetic lol.

- My sense of direction is rubbish, I always seem to get lost! Haha I have some funny stories about this.

- I try to be a good friend and do the right thing.

- But I've also done some terrible things.

- Some people have done wonderful things for me.

- I spent the Summer of 2006 in America at Independant Lake Camp, Pensylvania as an international councilor. I took care of kids and also taught keyboard.

- Still teaching keyboard! Don't have many students. I finished an HND in Music Performance at Perth College (I don't recommend the course) and now studying music and philosophy at Glasgow University.

- I like some stereotypically "geeky" things like sci-fi, rpgs and stuff. I'm also interested in the three Ps - philosophy, psychology and politics.

- I am good in bed but don't always get the ability to excercise my talents :-P

- I like learning and study a lot of things on a hobbyist basis. Everything from the 3 Ps, economics, theoretical physics to some aspects of health and diet. Psychopathy is a very interesting phenomenon and there are some great easy to read books on the subject that I would recommend to everyone such as Without Conscience by Robert D. Hare.

- I love partying! :D

- For those of you who don't already know, sharing a bed with someone nice = best thing in the world.
