AS SEEN ON PHILADELPHIA'S NBC10 The Rivers appear on Philadephia's NBC10 morning show!
EDDIE COCHRAN'S "TWENTY FLIGHT ROCK"
The Rivers are dedicated historical preservationists, playing vintage American music that is rarely heard on the radio. It's the music of Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, The Everly Brothers, Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, Eddie Cochran, and other rockabilly or rockabilly-influenced musicians of the years 1952 - 1960. It's the music that changed the world!
In addition to concert appearances at car shows, municipal events, private events, and concert stages, they have produced a tribute show called ROCKABILLY DAYS! and a children's show, SILLY ROCKABILLY. Kids love the music as much as their grandparents do!
NEW SHOW! ~ "OH, BOY!" at the COLONIAL THEATRE on October 9th and the SELLERSVILLE THEATER on February 27th. It's a concert celebration of the life and music of BUDDY HOLLY, which brings up the video below...
This is a video of the 10th Annual BLOBFEST RUNOUT, held on July 10th of this year. At about 18 seconds into the video, PAUSE IT... COULD THAT BE BUDDY HOLLY COMING OUT OF THE COLONIAL THEATER?!?!?
Well, no, of course it's not Buddy Holly, it's Edward Marra, who performs with The Rivers, using a little 1950s magic to recreate the excitement of a LIVE BUDDY HOLLY CONCERT!
