Rockaburley! is Glasgow's only rockabilly burlesque and club night created by Cat Aclysmic and Daiquiri Dusk for the movers and shakers on the retro, burlesque and alternative scene.

ROCKABURLEY: THE STORY SO FAR...
Rockaburley began in May 2008, hosting an amazingly successful premier night on May 24 at Barfly to a packed out crowd of over 200 gorgeous swingers and glitterati. The show featured some of the most talented burlesque performers in Britain today: Missy Malone (pictured below by Heidi Kuisma), Sakura Tsui, Lucille Burn as well as Cat Aclysmic and Daiquiri Dusk and was compered by the incomparable Dawnimatrix, who also djed along with lovely lad DJ Tony. The crowd was stunning, the acts were scintillating, and the club night afterwards was packed with some of the hottest looking dancers this side of the Atlantic.
In September 2008, the Rockaburley Girlies returned with a second show, jam-packed with burlesque sweeties to make you tremble at the knees! Award-winning international star Beatrix Von Bourbon (pictured below) headlined a cast that included Vendetta Vain, Lucille Burn and Rockaburley's creators, Cat Aclysmic and Daiquiri Dusk and the evening was a rocking success!
Hogmanay 2008 / 09 saw Rockaburley take to the stage for it's biggest event to date, welcoming in the new year with a cast of Rockaburley faves and some new faces too. Shimmying their way through a cloud of glitter into 2009, were burley teasers, Miss Golden de Licious (special guest, pictured below), Gilda Lily, Miss Hells Belle, Vendetta Vain, Daiquiri Dusk and Cat Aclysmic, with a fabulous Dj set by the awesome DJ Aaron of All Tore Up.
March 2009 saw Rockaburley return with a cracking new show in a fabulous new venue; The Classic Grand in Glasgow. With saucy burlesque from Cat Aclysmic & Daiquiri Dusk, as well as resident sexy lady Miss Hells Belle, Rockaburley also welcomed our guest performers, Impressive Johnson, Petit Chou Chou and the darling Miss Diva Hollywood (pictured below). Compere Lucille Burn held together the rollercoaster show, with ambient dancers Amelia Heart and Mia Meow also providing light entertainment.
THE ROCKABURLEY 1ST BIRTHDAY!
Celebrating our very first birthday bash on 16th May 2009, Rockaburley raised the bar with it's hottest line-up to date! Joining Cat and Daiquiri, as well as Miss Hells Belle, were Edinburgh-based cheerleader of chaos Wild Card Kitty, incredible dance duo The Kitsch Kats and international burlesque star Miss Fancy Chance (pictured below), all the way up from London! With free cake and tassel-twirling a-plenty, it was the birthday party of the year!
