Rock-A-Latte started due to the rapid thrive for contempoary worship at Grace UMC. On Saturday April 28, 2007 was the start of this new ministry held @ Grace United Methodist Church. The Youth of Grace Praise Band opened for Devin Balram and CommonRoy. That evening The Rock-A-Latte Coffee House Ministry was born.
R-A-L is a free christian coffee house open to the community and to anyone who wants to come. There is never a cover charge to get in and free coffee is always served! R-A-L supports all flavors of music and is looking for bands/groups/singers/dancers/ talents to come out and show your stuff. We are not looking for the next American Idol; just looking for someone who uses their gifts and talents in a Christian based form.
We finally have adequate sound equipment to hold large bands. R-A-L os held on a every other month basis. Please note this is a ministry not a large concert venue, Ours funds are Godly based and we take up a love offering for bands, there can be no guarantee for funds.
