Rockamapopolis, always in the midst of a rotating line-up, bring the jammed out/over played pop rock jam jams that are often referred to as "60's Brit pop," in part of the sound stylings of frontman Jason De Leon. Through awkward interludes of one's personal life, De Leon explicitly reflects those emotions in a greedy sense of raw and stripped down experimental noise, making a tight rhythm section a must. The steady bass lines of Antoine Henderson fill in the gaps, where some times De Leon is too pre-occupied with the millions of thoughts that make him confidently more insane each second of each day. A good drummer is always on hand as well to make things actually rock, inspiring De Leon to flail around like an out-patient. When those in attendance are really lucky, they can catch guitarist Joe Boyer, who slashes and rips scales like a 15 year-old on methadone. The combination of De Leon and Boyer has been said to cause artificial insemination for the billions of fertile female listeners.
"Chestnut Sounds," the second e.p. from Rockamapopolis are the songs currently playing. T-Shirts are available as well by contacting Rockamapopolis.
In the centrum of onslaught, across littoral and customary territory, a stopgap became available; a village of sorts, that had no political or presiding affiliation; rather, one goal in mind- harmony. That village became to be known as Rockamapopolis. Its members, stalwart and propone, began a movement to seclude themselves from the despotism of Western Culture; to align a new.
Whether it took place on many streets or just a few, the symmetry, pertinence and axiom of the eminent village of Rockamapopolis was founded on a Chestnut St., in two beautiful cities, Stow and Marysville, in America's Heartland. Crossing the great state of Ohio, through hardships of inner-state corruption and failing economic strategies, a structure began to form; an edifice that would become known as Chestnut Sounds.
The consummation and adeemed valid practice of Chestnut Sounds has come.
Although citizens became concerned by the hypocrisy of such altruists, whom had political cahoots and at times, association with the Mafia or even worse, professional sports, Rockamapopolis residents opened their arms with a deep sense of testimonial to the concept of Chestnut Sounds.
In its sixth and final phase, Chestnut Sounds, albeit inadequately arranged, had become the staple of society as many know it. For those who wish to reaffirm their common goals and direction in life, I highly recommend it.
