Everything started when blues rock guitarist ichiro and flamenco vocalist KSK Arita met.Right from that first meeting they hit it off.ichiro, who puts his soul completely into his guitar playing, is alble to move and capture any listener's heart.KSK also sings flamenco from the depth of his spirit.Rockamenco was born from the unity of the sound of these two souls from across two completely different music genres.

The two artist started composing songs.ichiro would write and record the music and KSK would then add vocals.This was the period of time that Rock and Flamenco were united, and the soul "Rockamenco" took form.
April, 2005
KSK introduced flamenco guitarist, Dan Hasegawa, to the band.Although still quite young, Dan has 17 years of experience as a flamenco guitarist (he started studying at the age of 7).He brought with him his passionate playing style.It was then that "Rockamenco"took shape as a band.
November, 2005
By November all the members of Rockamenco had been found and were now ready to put their souls into this new form of music.They are Gtr-Bee chan, Bass-Hokuto, Drm&Perc-SudaPony and Drm-Taro Katada(2007).

The soulful music of "ROCKAMENCO" was born.

2月23日に1st mini album「Rockamenco」を自主レーベルよりリリース。各界から個性をもった４人のメンバーが新たに加わり、7人編成でリリース当日に渋谷PLUGにて初ライブを行う。フラメンコカンタオールとしての経験を活かしたKSKの圧倒的なボーカルに、ichiroの放つ日本人離れしたメロディーセンス。そして斬新な音楽スタイルを見事に昇華させたバンドサウンドが衝撃と共に受け入れられる。その後、ミニアルバム収録曲「Morena」が音楽ポータルサイト”mF247”のダウンロードチャートにて総合部門、ワールドミュージック部門で1位を獲得。 7月5日には同mF247のレーベル第１弾アーティストに抜擢され「Rockamenco」を再リリース、全国の大手CDショップに並ぶ。 9月28日に渋谷Duo Music Exchangeで行われた初のワンマンライブは400人を動員して観客を魅了する。このライブを最後に、DrumsのYuyaが脱退。
