| General | I publish a website and host a monthly radio show on the Drastic Plastic Program on CKUT FM called The Rock and Roll Report (www.rockandrollreport.com) that covers rock and roll in all it's various flavours, cool record labels and radio shows, blogs, podcasts and magazines and anything remotely related to rock and roll that looks cool and interesting. The site features a number of writers passionate about rock and roll so if you feel the same, drop me an e-mail and write for The Rock and Roll Report. Aimed at those who think that rock is dead. ROCK IS DEAD. Nothing sets off my bullshit meter faster than this infamous proclamation, usually made by someone who’s sum total experience with rock and roll is American Idol or the local commercial rock station that votes Stairway to Heaven as “Song of the Year” every freakin’ year. The whole reason I started The Rock and Roll Report and Rock and Roll Report Radio is because there are thousands of bands, record labels, websites and radio shows that take serious offence to this misguided statement. If you believe that rock and roll is more than tattoos and cool shades, more than posing and trying to prove what a badass you are then welcome to The Rock and Roll Report on MySpace friend. Grab a cold drink and crank up the stereo because good rock and roll is always better loud. Let's explore what is out there in the wild and wooly world of rock and roll in the 21st century.
