Founded in 1999, Rock Around the World Entertainment is more than just
your average independent label. Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and
modeled after the idea that creativity breed's opportunity, this
budding independent label is poised to take the reigns and introduce
the world to some of the best talent Pittsburgh has to offer.
Nationally known for the contributions to the steel industry and its
impressive 5 championship Super Bowl rings, Pittsburgh is a city with
far more then meets the eye. As a current untapped market,
Pittsburgh is just the place to bring new music to a genre that many
claim, has become to commercialized and far removed from its original
mission. Recognizing this need for fresh new music in the music

R.A.W. Entertainment C.E.O. and Owner, Cardell Collins.
"I noticed the lack of representation of Pittsburgh in the industry of
music and wanted to do something about it," claims Collins. "I
researched the industry, networked with a number of industry insiders
at conferences and events, and came up with R.A.W. Entertainment.'"
Since forming R.A.W. Entertainment, Collins has effectively made large
steps towards putting the label on the map. From attending major
industry conferences, networking with powerful industry executives,
and daily consultation, Collins is set to make a difference. With a
strong dedication to succeed and a vowel to take advantage of
opportunity while also providing it, his passion for R.A.W.
Entertainment has effectively turned the label into the powerhouse
that is now known as today. Boasting a capable and readily able
roster that includes Lady Homi, Murda Mouse, Hershey, Smoove Dule,
Snook, LP the Prodigy, King of all Kings(K.I), J. Will, Shawn and Tha Reazon. R.A.W. Entertainment has something for everybody and gives
something for nothing.
Besides focusing on the success of their own artist R.A.W.
Entertainment also supports Pittsburgh artists. Through the recent
creation of the Pittsburgh Music Industry Network, which acts as a
resource to the growing Pittsburgh music scene, R.A.W. Entertainment
has effectively begun steps to further the appeal and knowledge of
local and surrounding area independent artist. Offered as an
excellent resource for people interested in the music and
entertainment industries, this network will host a number of industry
