INTRO + Forever In My Dreams

BANG?, formed in May 2008, is a rock band from Istanbul, Turkey with a contemporary sound and is mostly influenced by American and British Rock. The band finished recording 5 songs by the end of November 2008 with M. Hakan Ozhendekci (Jokerstore Studios) and released their first demo named “Bangademo” by December 2008.

The band is in touch with a number of people to get their music heard by major and independent record companies all around the world, especially in the USA and Great Britain. The band has not only created a remarkable fan network in such a short period of time, which is growing rapidly but is also willing to reach more people by playing live as much as possible.

BANG? played live and met the audience at Studio Live Dip, Istanbul on 21 February 2009 for the first time. Video footage of the band’s live performance was also taken and sponsored by Digital Film Academy. More videos will be available in Myspace soon.

The band’s vision and goals are clear. To release a debut album from a major record label and start touring to get recognized internationally and become successful in the rock music industry. The Band is planning to finish the recording of the first album by the end of 2009 and to release the album by 2010.

BANG? members are devoted to music and ready to give hundred percent to achieve a success which has not been a reality for any other Turkish band before.

BANG? members know that the road is long and tough, however they are ready for the challenges and the hard work which is crucial to reach success.

Mayıs 2008’de kurulan BANG? özellikle Amerikan ve İngiliz rock müziğinden etkilenmiş, klasik tarzdaki hard rock müziğini modern bir soundla birleştirmeyi amaçlayan bir gruptur. Grup şu ana kadar prodüktör M. Hakan Ozhendekci (Jokerstore Studios) ile 5 şarkı kaydetti ve “Bangademo” adını verdikleri demoyu yayınladı.

Grup şu anda hem bağımsız hem de major plak şirketlerinin dikkatini çekebilmek için pek çok kişiyle görüşmelerini de sürdürüyor. Bir yandan internet üzerinden ulaşabildiği dinleyici sayısını her geçen gün arttırırken bir yandan da yeni konserler ile daha fazla dinleyiciye ulaşmak için çalışmalarına devam ediyor.

BANG? ilk konserini 21 Şubat 2009’da İstanbul Studio Live Dip’te vererek seyirci ile buluştu. Bu konserin tamamı Digital Film Akademi sponsorluğunda kaydedildi. Yakında grubun diğer şarkılarına ait videolar da Myspace’de yer alacak.

Grubun amacı ve vizyonu oldukça net: Bir plak şirketi ile anlaşım ilk albümünü yayınlamak ve uluslararası bir tanınırlık elde edip Rock müzik piyasası içinde kendine yer bulmak. Grup 2009 yılının sonunda album kayıtlarını bitirmeyi ve 2010 yılında ilk albümünü yayınlamayı planlamaktadır.
