About me: Rock Bottom is the #1 musical instrument and equipment store in the CSRA!
Our My-Space site is intended for musicians and people who enjoy all styles of music to post concert dates and events for shows in the CSRA. It is also a good way to meet other frinds in our community who have the same musical interests.
My name is Jonathan Karow and I am the proud owner of two music stores both called "Rock Bottom Music". I statrted out selling musical instruments and equipment in 1998 at rockbottommusic.com as a second job while working for a drum and guitar pick-up company.
I invite you to visit Rock Bottom Music.com to see how we have progressed over the years! We were recently voted Best Music Store(s) in our area!
I have a beautiful girlfriend/soul-mate, Jeanie! She is my best friend and life-partner.
We have no children though I like kids and still enjoy "being one" from time to time.
We have a standard Chihuahua named Geronimo. He is "our kid". He currently weighs about 9 1/2 pounds.
SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC STORES, MERCHANTS, AND BUSINESSES! WATCH OUR COMMUNITY AND MUSIC SCENE GROW! Rock Bottom Music ONLY hires local musicians and is a locally owned business. We support as many USA owned companies and product-lines as possible! We care about the growth of our local music community! Make sure that the music store you are shopping at is locally owned! MANY ARE NOT!!! Thanks for voting us #1 in the CSRA! God bless you all!
Donation in memory of my father for cancer research.
In Loving Memory of My father Dr. Armand M. Karow.
(Tuesday, February 06, 2007) This morning my father passed away after a long struggle with cancer. He had dedicated his life to helping people with reproductive disabilities to have children. He was the innovator of many cryobiology medical discoveries, many of which were unfortunately not credited to him! He lived in the CSRA for over 35 years and donated much of his time and earnings to various charities.
Dr. Armand Karow (Owner Xytex Corp, retired from MCG) was a loving father to myself and my brother Christopher Armand Karow (Graduate Davidson Fine-Arts Magnet School and Music Major UGA). He remained faithfully married to my mother Ramona Karow (retired Richmond County school teacher) since their early twenties.
He will also be missed by his sister Martha Taylor, Catherine Karow, my life-partner Jeanie Goodwin, and many others who loved him very much.

(Song Lyrics) Rick Springfield - "My Father's Chair" (1984)
My father's chair still standing there
All alone since the long night
Now it's three years on and i still feel
He'll come home, we'll be alright
So where's this healing time brings
I was told the pain would ease
But it still hurts like the first night
That night my brother, my mother and I
Were looking up at a distant star
And wishing we could reach that far
And back in the house
And alone for the first time
We told each other we cared
We avoided my father's chair
I watch my family, we hold on
We are strong and we'll be alright
The clock continues counting down, all the while
And every child will share the long night
But do the spirits meet again
Why am I still so filled with doubt
Is my soul everlasting
And the far distant future
When I knew you'd be gone
Came too fast and stays too long
Why do they leave the weak of spirit
And take the strong
When the world turns sour
And I get sick from the smell
And I can't find no comfort there
I climb into my father's chair
Thank You for your kind words and prayers.
Best Wishes & God Bless,
Jonathan Karow
Who I'd like to meet:
Your Birthdate: February 27
You are a spiritual soul - a person who tries to find meaning in everything.
You spend a good amount of time meditating, trying to figure out life.
Helping others is also important to you. You enjoy social activities with that goal.
You are very generous and giving. Yet you expect very little in return.
Your strength: Getting along with anyone and everyone
Your weakness: Needing a good amount of downtime to recharge
You are a caring, kind, and selfless partner.
Unsurprisingly, your love style is the most rare.
You are willing to sacrfice your world for your sweetie.
Except it doesn't really feel like sacrifice to you.
For you, nothing feels better than giving to the one you love.
A complete lunatic, you're operating on 100% animal instincts.
You thrive on uncontrolled energy, and you're downright scary.
But you sure can beat a good drum.
"Kill! Kill!"
