    Rock Cadillac history and records. Rock Cadillac was founded in Vaajakoski, Finland in 1974. The band's influences and vision is deep in rock'n'roll and 70's stuff. The group released two LP records in the late 70's, but eventually broke up. Rock Cadillac's gig is also filmed in the Mikko Niskanen's film " SYKSYLLÄ KAIKKI ON TOISIN " read more. Now in the new millennium Rock Cadillac is back with new material and it sounds like, "saturday night in the honky tonk bar where all girls boogie in tight blue jeans allover Texas "!!! . From this invitation it all began again, " Rock Cadillac as the main performer in concert stage of Rönnin Eräjärvi 04.08.2001". To the concert stage of Ronnin Eräjärvi. The trio performed in an almost original composition; Jouko Mäenpää; guitar and vocals, Jussi Ikonen Drums, and in bass and vocals, instead of the original basist Tapani Häkkinen concert stage came Rock Cadillac's new member Valtteri Tynkkynen who is known as a musician and composer of the band YUP. In the beginning of year 2002 the band started to make new material for the upcoming long play CD. New single was released 2003; " Introduction ", " I Just Cant Keep My Eyes Off You " and " Cadillac Man ". The songs has great vocals, good melodies, cool choruses, guitar weeps and the bands own tune; like rock n' roll should be, like plain two-four plank, fresh, firm and straight up !. The band broke up in september 1978 because of the members musical differenties, which opens up cleary to us outsiders when reading the second albums work crew. Rock Cadillac's drummer Jussi Ikonen and the basist Tapani Häkkinen joined pianist Dave Taylors 88-band. Jouko Mäenpää has continued composing and performing music continously, and he is recorded the following solo releases and with band: Torstai 6.12.1917, LP " Tunnustuksia " 1981, Discophon Oy (Quul 202). Jouko Mäenpää single " IntiaaniNainen " and " When You Come To Town ". Pasi Karppinen also played bass in Rock Cadillac 2005 - early 2009.
