ROCK CHICK & SCIENCE GEEK… LIVE

Hot rock meets cool science when Rock Chick & Science Geek join forces to entertain and educate. You’ll be amazed by awesome experiments and inspired by wicked rock songs.

An unlikely duo, but a perfect partnership, Rock Chick and “The Geek” perform side by side in a series of exciting scientific rock concerts where science inspires song and song inspires science. Balloons burst into balls of flame, kids are swallowed by bubbles, and smoky air doughnuts sail through the air backed by a catchy collection of original pop-rock songs. Rock Chick & Science Geek is entertaining, engaging and educational.

Participation and interaction are key elements that keep Rock Chick & Science Geek shows fresh and exciting. Audience members sing, dance and actively take part in many songs and experiments creating a memorable experience children want to repeat again and again.

Taking part in a Mexican wave helps demonstrate how sound waves travel.
Dancing like a penguin introduces everyone to a very strange bit of avian biology …and EVERYONE wants to be “the boy in the bubble”!

REVIEWS

“David and Susi are brilliant entertainers who relate to children on an amazing level and hold their audience in spellbound wonder throughout their shows. A science lesson? Never! It’s clever entertainment for kids.”
Jen Watts Creator, The Fairies

“David and Susi have a great rapport with the audience (there is no shortage of children wanting to be volunteers on stage) and the show is interesting and fun from start to finish with no weak spots… A great mix of educational, musical and just sheer fun content.”
Antoinette Brown Something On Saturday, Adelaide Festival Centre

“It was absolutely and amazingly brilliant... each and every kid had a ball and got into the production BIG TIME. It was a treat and experience to see the kids involved and engaged during every second of the interactive performance.”
BHP Billiton Staff Member, After his family attended a BHP Billiton Youth Arts sponsored event

“It’s funny without resorting to cheap humor; it’s educational without being stuffy; and it’s clever without being manipulative. Most importantly, it really does rock… It certainly isn’t rocket science; it’s much more fun than that.”
Stephen Davenport, Adelaide Theatre Guide

Rock Chick & Science Geek in… SCIENCE ROCKS!

Science Rocks is a spectacular, high energy rock concert where bubbles swallow audience members whole, air doughnuts sail across the theatre and everyone is encouraged to dance like a penguin (for very scientific reasons!). Plus you'll get the chance to take part in a punked-up version of everyone’s favourite nursery rhyme! It’s an interactive, scientific rock concert!

Rock Chick & Science Geek in… IT’S ROCKET SCIENCE

Take off with Rock Chick & Science Geek on a buoyant journey that explores the science of flight. You’ll discover the secrets behind hot air ballooning, create a tea bag rocket and see a beach ball float in mid-air. Rock songs and rockets join forces to educate, inspire and entertain in this brilliant scientific rock concert that’s guaranteed to get your toes tapping and your brain spinning. It’s rock, it’s science… It’s Rocket Science!

Hello rock chick,

Any news? Send me your update. I'm jealous that you get to sing about fish farts, they don't use the word fart too often in RnB so I can't see it working for me......
