■日本のDANCEHALLシーン創成期のオリジネーター■
幼い頃から幅広いジャンルにおいて第一線で活躍！！スケートボード界においても偉大な成績を残す。DANCEHALL REGGAEにおいても中心的存在であり、現在流行中のSOUND CLASH等のJAMAICAのSELECTOR STYLEを誰よりもいち早く取り入れると同時に、1980年後期～1990年初頭、まだまだ少ないDEEJAY STYLEをレコードにし積極的にPLAY紹介し、今迄に数々の日本人、JAMAICANアーティストを世に送る。これらがきっかけになり後続者が増加、現在の日本REGGAEシーンに至る。今一線で活躍中のSOUND MAN達にも多大な影響を与えカリスマ性を持つ。8６年にEARTHQUAKE crewを結成、93年ROCK DESIRE crewに改名、実にSELECTOR 歴22年のキャリアに至る。現在も活動の基盤は変える事なく大阪を拠点とし全国各地で活躍し、国内・海外アーティストの来日ツアー等をサポートする。又、92年日本人としては初めて現地JAMAICA（METRO MEDIA）でのPLAYを果たしたが、'08年春更にジャマイカの現場５ヵ所でのPLAYも経験するなど確実にパワーアップしたスキルに注目したい。カリスマKURIRINを筆頭とし、バウンスマンとして一層磨きが掛かるTSUYOSHI 、 レギュラーダンス｢STRONG SURVIVE｣等でKURIRINのフロントを努めるDAYLIGHT、ROCK DESIREの特色の1つとも言えるGroove感で独特の世界に引き込まれること間違いなし！今後の動きがますます注目される！現在、REGGAEフリーペーパー情報誌「REGGAE TOWN」にて執筆連載中。
Rock desire was originally started as EARTH QUAKE DISCO INTERNATIONAL in 1986 at Osaka Japan, and they changed name Rock Desire in 1993.
In 1980's, in Japan didn't have much Jamaican style sound system, EARTH QUAKE DISCO INTERNATIONAL (Rock Desire) was one of original Japan roots sound system in Osaka. Althow back in time he gave a performance for a first Japanese person to involved with Jamaica sound system METRO MEDIA in the past 1992.. Especially they took Jamaican dancehall movemen for example sound clash faster then the other sound. And they won many titles on 1980's - 1990's. At 1993 Rock Desire beat whole heep a sound and took Japanese champion title. Also they produced and recorded many deejay (on that time deejay style is not famous like now) and introduced to many not only Japanese but also Jamaican Deejay to Japanese reggae seen. Rock desire now is one of charisma of Japanese sound system. They are not play ordinal tune. They play new~old,dub,remix,everything,but especially 45 which people call Rock Desire tune. The Rock desire tune is very rare vinyl 45 and when the people put on yahoo auction (Same as e-bay), it is very high price bet. 2007 Rock Desire started new level call Golden 1000 which is reissue 1980's and 1990's tune from old level (such as call Rock Desire tune)& even come up the new rabel call GOLDEN 2000 it's for the new tittle !
