MyyyyyySpaaaacccee! Welcome to My... Space! You have just taken the first step in meeting one the MOST captivating, and phenomonal chics eva! My name is Ajisha (pronounced Asia) aka Rocker Barbie, and I am the KNOW all and BE all of all things Pop Culture. Kinda like a modern day Downtown Julie Brown if you will, just betta lookin'. LOL. Why am I "Rocker Barbie" you ask? Well for a few reasons. Firstly, my love for the music. When I hear that sound of live instruments. Guitars, percussion, all that beautifully melodic instrumentation... The sound just coats my soul and I find myself in a different world. I felt Pharrell when he stated that he sees music in his mind. I just wish I was musically talented enough to make my own mark in music. lol I am in awe of those who posses the God given talent of being able to put your emotions into music no matter the genre. My hats off to you! Secondly, because I believe that I was a rock star in my past life. No, really. I do! Laugh if you must. I totally believe that I'm the long lost 5th member of Fall Out Boy. * Dont know who they are? Google them and take notice! My fierce bestfriend Mac, ( yup, that hottie in the #1 spot)... I like to refer to her as " The Million Dollar Stylist On The Rise" and shes the reason my hair is always so damn fly! U want fly hair too you say? Click on her pic, and leave her a note! She'll have ya lookin like a million bucksssssaaaahhh!! Naw but really, she's my everything and I totally feel blessed to have her. Best Friends are hard to come by ya know? Yeah, we have friends, and really good friends... but BEST FRIENDS? You are lucky to find one. Those of you who know us in real life, know just how close we are and know how damn crazy we are too! lol Last year I made a move to the Big Apple where I was faced with Death. Literally. I became VERY ill while I was away and it forced me to move back home. I was broken hearted. I felt that I didnt even get to give my dreams a TRY!! But at the same time, I learned so much from that situation. I realized that life is so short and that I cannot wait on things to happen for me, I have to MAKE them happen. Pay attention to my resources and make use of them. All the while praying to the Lord to walk with me along the way. But the Lord walked before me and paved a way for me... That path had led me to Hollywood!!! I have been here for almost a year and I have done so many wonderful things. I was a student at the Musicians Institute studying music business with a focus on Publicity. It was there I learned that maybe I wanted to do something else with my career. So then I enrolled at The Television Actors Studio to sharpen my TV skills. I am a amateur producer, writer, TV Host, and all around creative genius! (toot toot!) I am working on something right now that I pray will provide me my moment to shine! We shall soon see! ;-) I work for the Sunset Entertainment Group and I totally love what I do. Check out two of our clubs in my top friends: The Green Door and The Cabana Club.
