AJ Fratto, Blue Angels Crew Chief by day and rockstar by night mentality has given Rocker AJ a dream to reach, that being entertaining fans of rock n' roll. This New York born rocker is destined to rock heads and make your ears buzz when you see him live. You know when you come in contact with him because he is full of energy which has earned Rocker AJ a nomination for 'Best Live Show' in 2006 Independent News Music Awards.
If AJ looks familiar but you can't place a finger on where you've seen him, you may of seen him with Imperial Shreds and Below The Stitch which he was lead vocals in. In 2002, Imperial Shreds was formed. In late 2004, AJ broke away from the band and turned to his hard & heavy hitting new sound in his creation known as Below The Stitch. While Below The Stitch still occassionally performs, AJ is rockin' more often with his newly found brothas of Baqslash.
The past few years have been a roller coaster ride, juggling opportunities to play shows around AJ's Blue Angels schedule has delayed his opportunity to get around, but that did not slow him down at all! Rocker AJ has played with: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Papa Roach, Sugar Ray, Southern Culture on the Skids, TRUSTcompany, Flogging Molly, Injected, Percy Sledge, and most recently opened for the Jagermeister Tour with Staind, Three Days Grace, and Hurt.
In addition to his busy schedule with the Blues, he also takes on the task of scheduling his performances as well as contacting and enlisting other bands to come play. He has put on a 9/11 benefit concert as well as just finishing a hugely successful Armed Forces Day concert at Pensacola N.A.S.
