..GoGirlsMusic.com is proud to present the 8th annual.. ..Invasion of the GoGirls.. during Austin's annual "South by".. weekend : March 13-15, 2008.. .. ...... .. .. .. .. .. Annie, Jon and Jeff got together in early 2006 to play a few gigs together in the Dallas area. They quickly realized that they had a unique sound that crossed boundries of folk, rock, country, jazz and blues. Drummer April Samuels keeps everyone on time and reminds us that high tops are a MUST in the wardrobe! While Annie writes the majority of the tunes Rocket Girl performs , they also play tunes written by Nick Lowe, Brian Wilson, Smithereens and the occasional ACDC tune! And yes.... Jon and Jeff are related.... -

Annie, Jeff, Jon and the highly-rockin' Mz April, it was certainly my extreme pleasure to sit in with you at Mystics, Mutts and Moonpies on Saturday. It was so much fun and I hope we'll do it again soon!!! Am working on that. You haven't all seen this but this is how I looked when I left Atlantic, Iowa, to join the production of Showboat. My dad begged me not to go and said nothing good ever came from being a drummer of any sort. Now, after all these years, I finally realize he was totally right. Well, unless you get to drum next to April. Smile.
