Right back at you & good to hear from you! Have been wondering about you! Heard "Chef" the other night on Son-in-Law (showing on the CWT network, of all places; BillyGoat must be turning over in it's grave) & have been trying to get Mike to schedule a BG reunion in KC. Don't think it will happen; where is a good BG when you need it? Take good care!
RPG's certain brand of ethereal yet bone-chilling songs are always very affecting. Also must comment on Ms. Loy's stunning cover of "Gun Street Girl"...how does she manage to channel both Waits and Howlin' Wolf simultaneously? And it's always a pleasure to listen to Mr. Lavish's sparkling, bluesy guitar and sunny-hazy-day vocals.
The real treat for me was to hear that Ra's song for Marla is finally up for the listening! The vocals are gorgeous...this is Flanna, yes? The strings were a nice touch here...really adds to the heartrending feel of the entire song. Beautiful stuff, Ra...thank you! :)
I want a goat. And it would be even cooler if she was rocket propelled. I like to get places fast. I do enjoy your music as well. It makes me want to beat up Paris Hilton. But what doesn't?
"You give me all your love...you give me all your kisses, Then you touch my burqa and do not know who is it."
Those were my fave lines from the Burqa Babes vid...I chuckled throughout...but it was actually kinda spooky, too.
You have some interesting pieces here, Rocket Propelled Goat! The songs are tinged with sadness...and your soundscapes are very sinister in nature. Not baaaaad at all!
You've definitely set yourselves apart from the herd. :)
