I like to go to the movies and drink when I can. I love being with my wonderful girlfriend of 6 years, no matter what we are doing. I love you baby!
Music
I like basically all types of music except most country drives me insane. The rock from the late 60's and early 70's has always caught my ear, as well as most modern rock. Yes I am one of those people who actually enjoys oldies. If you cannot appreciate the lyrics and smooth sounds of Cab Calloway or Louis Armstrong then there must be somthing loose in your head.
Movies
=-) Well, this is one of my favorite subjects, I love almost all kinds of movies as long as they are put together well and do not get boring. I find that most movies my friends say are to slow at the beginning or there was somthing wrong with the plot I tend to pay a little closer attention to the movie I usually find that the director puts in subtle hints and a little forshadowing into what is to come later in the movie during the slower parts. This is true with almost every movie, you just have to think a little harder than the average person is willing to do to be entertained. Movies about historical events are probably my favorite because I love history, but I couldn't do without my favorite director of all time, George Romero, and his antics in the saga of zombies. He is truely the man that started the zombie movie craze of the 60's and 70's. Almost all movies based on zombie events are based off of the basic ideals that Romero instilled into his zombies. The slow motor skills, the absence of almost any intellectual capacity at all.
Television
Mmmmm... Cable is truly a godsend from heaven. In what other country can you watch cartoons that feature a ball of meat, a giant milk shake and a bin of french fries with superpowers? How about a spoof on Starsky and Hutch that holds no bars? Or even a hilarious spoof on an old 70-80's cartoon I actually used to watch when I was little? =-) The Venture Brothers is truly the millenium's reincarnation of Johnny Quest. Or even Birdman Attorney at Law, I watched that original also, but I find the new spoof more entertaining than the 70's era Birdman made with low budget Speedracer animation. Wooooooooooooooooooooo Adult Swim will rule the world in 2021.
Books
I like most historically correct books about past world events, as well as comics and artistic books.
Heroes
Audie Murphy ------ And if you don't know who that is, try looking up the highest decorated American war veteran in our great countries history. He received every single medal available during his tour of duty in Italy. The man was turned down by every armed forces service except the Army, his last resort. He then became the greatest hero in American history in my book. After surviving the war he came back home and became an actor. He had the honor to portray himself in a movie about his exploits in war. If you want to check it out, its called To Hell and Back. Everything in that movie he did, including forcing back an entire company of German infrantry single handedly with a Browning .50 cal machinegun and a mangled arm.
