What is Rock Fist?

Who We Are: Rock Fist Reviews is an online resource for fans to discover solo artists, bands, and other local talent in the Atlanta community. RFR’s online blog began in May 2008 and the official RFR site launched April 2009. Rock Fist Reviews is a website focused on local Atlanta musicians providing album and performance reviews as well as interviews. The site also features other local talent such as tattoo, piercing, recording studios, photographers, music instructors, etc. The goal of the site is to showcase the wide range of local talent available in the Atlanta area and be a hub for the community.

Rock Fist TV is an internet based television show debuting on the web based TV channel called REELMIND.TV. The channel launches on September 25th. Five pilot episodes were filmed in December of 2009 and now RFTV has 14 episodes complete and ready for launch. Rock Fist TV is a video version of RFR’s site condensed into 15 minute episodes that create a web based television show broadcast on REELMIND.TV. Episodes feature an intimate interview with a band or solo artist, as well as a short spotlight segment highlighting other local talent.


What We Do: As a resource to the local community, we only post positive reviews for bands we have discovered and recommend. The same goes for other local artists such as tattoo/ piercing artists, photographers, production companies, and much more. Despite your preferred genre of music, the local scene has something for everyone. We want Rock Fist to be a trusted place you come to discover new, upcoming artists.


What We Don’t Do: We do no post negative reviews. If we do not recommend a band, they will not be featured on Rock Fist. Anyone can rip a band apart. Our goal is not to discourage artists, but to support artists worthy of your time and wallet.
