I'm a guitarist, a singer, and a bass player! I started playing guitar at the age of 14 and have been singing since I was 8. I picked up the bass in 1996 and took to it like I'd always played it. I trained as a classical violinist and majored in music at school, playing in a National Youth Orchestra. I live in Connecticut but I'm originally from London, England. Check out my website: www.debbieseymour.com
I won the Hartford Advocate's Best Bass Player Award in 2005. I've been playing bass with a well-known all-female band for the past year but now I'm the new singer with with Vengeance. I write and record my own material in my home studio using Cubase SX3 with a bunch of plugins. All my original material can be heard on my website.
Most notable among my previous bands were Lick That, who have appeared on national television and national radio in England. Our video for "Remember" appeared on the hit TV show "Noisy Mothers". The other main band of note was Neon, with whom I appeared at Reading Festival in 1998, sharing the bill with such legends as Page / Plant of Led Zeppelin fame, Foo Fighters, the Beastie Boys and Garbage. We also headlined the prestigious London Astoria in 2002. I was also one of the guitarists in all-female Metal sensation Afterbirth in London in the 90s.
This page is for fun, to share some of my favorite pics and bands, and to network with other musicians across the world. Stop by and say hi anytime, I'm always pleased to hear from people. The internet is a wonderful thing! If you're a musician or band from Connecticut looking for new bandmates, drop me a line. If it fits I'd consider it. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Debbie, Thanks so much for the kind work, i am really looking forward to working with Seb, we do really get on for a drummer and guitar player hehe. I hope the Yankies are looking after you, if not tell them you like the NY Yankies hehe. Peace and Love
Debbie - its my uttermost pleasure to have been part of the Vengeance March of Metal. -its always a joy to be amongst great people as yourself in who I love to claim not only as friends but more to say as family - and yes, youre are defiently my family w/o question. Honestly, Im always @ the front when I am listening to the band - its creates more power within me and plus the music seems to be more satisfying and more overwhelming almost as if Im part of the band (even though I am through promotion wise) but since last night I felt as if I was more than just a promoter - I felt as if I was more BLOOD related if you know what I mean :)
I will see you again soon - I promise!!! :)
PS: I wrote a blog about last nights performance - check it out when you can, and incase youre wondering .. youre also included :)
