Rock Gut Inc. Unofficially opens registration for a global battle of the bands For_Immediate_Release:
United States of America (Press Release) May 29, 2008 -- Who says metal is Dead? Rock Gut Inc., a media services group in NY who specializes in creative design for rock/heavy metal bands all accross the country has opened Pandora's Box. They are inviting bands from all over the world to compete via the web for the top dog position in the metal world.
It is a tremendous opportunity for newer bands to get noticed, and although they are being "tight lipped" about the perks of the contest, they have released that there will be "celebrity judging" for the top 10 and that the judges panel will also consist of producers, and other industry talent.
Right now their largest concern is if they will have to limit the number of entries...which will be determined by June 15th (the official start date). "We would like to have every band in the world, but it is just not realistic at this point. Judging by the number of emails we've received thus far, we will most likely reach a cap by mid to late June".
They have a Myspace page set up, which is where they will filter the bands down to the final 10, Myspace users will be among the first to vote. Bands are required to be on Myspace, and have at least one single professionally recorded. That page is at www.myspace.com/rockgutinc
To enter the Contest:
Location is not an issue, you must have at least produced one single to be considered. To be registered add us on myspace, then email a Band photo, Band name, short Bio, and mp3 of ONE song to contest@rockgutinc.com.

The CONTEST!
We are opening registration for "The Contest". The official starting date is June 15th 2008. Actually it was the whole purpose for this Myspace profile. Bands will initially be judged by the average joe who frequents this site...however the final 10 will have the honor of being picked apart by the best in the industry...producers, artists, and yes Metal Gods(Famous Metal Musicians). In a nutshell it's gonna be F-N great! And YES, there are prizes! All the good stuff will be announced on June 14 at midnight, however we will release teasers via the bulletin board right here on Myspace...so make sure you add us! Oh yea, one more thing, part of this is to get bands that extra edge and leg up they need to "make it", so if you've already gotten there, you probably shouldn't enter....
