Sounds Like
Crowds gathering...A big fat noise...Peaceful silence...Then more big fat noise when we deliver instruments to the kids ! Pretty cool, huh?
There still exists today a house...the RockHouse in Erie, PA. When we occupied its space, it gave solice to be within its walls. Creativity flowing. Safety. Family. Understanding.
This is the spirit that moves us forward to support organizations that are "filling the gap" as it relates to music and arts education for the youth of today and tomorrow.
RockHouse Arts Foundation was born to simply encourage music and artistic creation in the world. Our funds are used to purchase musical instruments and lessons in support of existing music education and mentoring programs.
Recent donations have been made to Sarah Reed Children's Center (Erie, PA), the Neighborhood Art House (Erie, PA), Western PA School for the Deaf (Pittsburgh, PA), Erie Art Museum, and Margaret Brent Elementary School (Baltimore, MD).
RockHouse is financed through concerts, private donations, and music memorabilia auctions.

Read the Erie Times News article at www.rockhouseworld.org covering our inaugural event in 2006, including an interview with founder, Dan Ostrowski, explaining where the term "RockHouse" came from.
If you know of an organization or individual that can benefit from our work, please contact us.
RockHouse..Solid Music. Solid Family.
