* Social Outings such as camps, trips to the zoo, fairs, library, etc. *
* Therapeutic Horseback Riding lessons *
* Swimming lessons *
* Interactive Computer software & books *
* In-home ABA Training *
* Easily affordable Consulting *
* PECS materials, accompanying books, boards, etc. *
* School curriculum oriented workbooks *
* Special Needs curriculum materials *
* Connect parents with other Parent Mentors *
* Assist with medical needs as prescribled by a physician *
* Sponsor a parent to attend informational and educational conferences *
* Holiday assistance, gift giving, celebrations, etc. *
* Yearly "Back-to-School" supplies / Home Schooling supplies *

Something to REMEMBER -

Parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) often realize the importance of education and cognitive type therapies, but quite often the benefits of physical activity can be overlooked.

Studies have shown that physical activity can improve the overall quality of life of individuals with autism. Not only does it introduce the individual to a SOCIAL environment and a chance to interact with others in the community, but it has also been demonstrated to improve behavior, decrease anxiety, and increase focus.

We also network with various other autism related charities, bands, and FANTASTIC friends.

We are ALWAYS in need of extra funding to help support our children and their families.

Many children living on the Autism Spectrum ALSO have a diagnosis of Diabetes, just like Bret.

As I have a "Fat Diva Doggie" who ALSO has her glucose levels monitored, this is an important cause ALL the way around!
