Affiliations Rise School Houston is proudly affiliated with the University of Alabama in Tusaloosa and Texas Children's Hospital and is housed in facilities generously donated by the hospital. Texas Children's also provides professional resources and consultants for the education of parents, educators, and administrators relating to the development and needs of young children, including those with Down syndrome and other developmental delays. The Rise School is the recipient of grant funds from the M.D. Anderson Foundation, Brown Foundation, The Lillian and C. W. Duncan Foundation, The Medallion Foundation, Dynegy Education in Communities Program, Cullen Foundation, Fondren Foundation, The Ellwood Foundation, Vivian L. Smith Foundation, The William Stamps Farish Fund, Hammill Foundation, Houston Endowment, The West Foundation, Simmons Foundation, Strake Foundation and The Rockwell Fund.

About Rockin Benefit Events

This site helps to promote a variety of local benefit and charity events in the Houston and surrounding areas.
Be sure to go out and support your favorie bands at the 2009 Houston Press Music Awards July 26th and then also go to the Awards Ceremony at Warehouse Live July 30th. Proceeds benefit The Music Therapy Center fo Houston
