When I'm not working I'm usually home taking care of my kids. It's not very "rock and roll" I know, but family has to come first. I play guitar on the weekends with my rock band Doctor Bombay.
I've been playing guitar since Christmas of 1982, and I can not imagine my life without music in it. I've managed to be a positive influence on a lot of young people, especially my two brothers, (who aren't so young anymore) and they're both great musicians, too. I have two nephews that both play guitar, and along the way I've been able to help the sons of several friends get going in music, as well.
It's my belief that the gift of music lasts a lifetime, and it's similar to the idea of "give a man a fish, he eats for today, teach a man to fish, he eats for life" in that I enjoy playing for people, but they enjoy it more when they're able to play, too.
