About me:

Rockin' Rochester U.S.A.! Honoring this upstate New York's rock 'n' roller's from Jerry Engler's "Sputnik (Satellite Girl)" in 1957 to today! I host the 'Whole Lotta Shakin' radio show on WITR. This site reflects the music that I've played on the show since 1984. It is not meant to be a comprehensive discography of rock music made in and around the Rochester area, or a comment on it. I'm proud of it all!. That being said, this area has produced plenty of wild R&B,Rockabilly,Instrumental,Surf,Garage,Power Pop and pure rock 'n' roll discs and artists, and I'm going to strive to make this a sort of hall of fame for all of them.
