About me:
This here myspace page is my way of continuing to promote rockin' sundays at The Castle.
For many years I have held rockin' sundays in Southend first at The Ship and then at The Woodgrange and as of 20th January 2008 I start a new chapter with you my friends and loyal rockin' patrons.
The new venue is really nice, great atmosphere, friendly landladies plenty of parking and of course the same sensational bands and some new ones, fantastic DJ's and it's still completely free to come in, but its a fiver to get out, yeah I know you've heard that one before. The Castle will be our home for many years to come as long as you continue to support your local rockin' scene. For those of you who want to get your toes wet and come and join us one sunday you can look forward to bands like The Rat Pack, Cat & The HOt Tin Trio, The Houserockers, The Sundowners, Midnight Shift, The Midnight Howlers, Rockhouse,The Sunsetters, The Koolkatz, The Alleycats, The Moonshiners, Big Black Cadillac, Crazy man Crazy,The Zoltans and many more.

You will find The Castle by
if you know the woodgrange then head down to the seafront from the woody and turn left at the kursaal about 300 yards The Castle is on the left.
If you dont know the woodgrange head for the seafront and keeping the sea on your right go past the minerva and look for us on the left.
The gig guide is on this site although there are times when at short notice the band changes so be warned check before you come out if its a band you are specifically travelling to see.
