About me: I'm 42 and I've been very happily married for over 8 years to a truly awesome woman. We are total music junkies and our lives seem to revolve around music. We've taken vacations to Europe to see Monster Magnet on 2 of their European dates, in 2004, in 2005 to see the Fields of Rock Festival in Nijmegen, Holland and Germany for Wacken Open Air Metal Fest in 2008. My wife and I live in Boston's North Shore area with our 2 lovable and spoiled cats. I work as a Temp/Contract worker but seem to keep pretty busy with that, my house, my life and 2 bands.
I've been a bass player off and on for over 22 years (on again for the last 8 yrs.). I took a nearly 10 year break from music and began playing bass again in 1999 thanks to then girlfriend, now lovely wife. Since I've started again I was a founding member of Gimantis and was in the band for over 2 years. Gimantis has a song on the soundtrack (which I played bass on) of the soon to be classic B Horror movie Die You Zombie Bastards. After Gimantis, I went on to play in American Pulverizer and had a great run with that band including a great show @ the legendary CBGB's but broke up in 2004. By 2006 I ended up on bass with The Tenafly Vipers (who were MP3 of the week on www.bostonphoenix.com for July 2006). I left Tenafly Vipers in Spetember of 2007 to join Two Saints. Two Saints disbanded in September 2008 and shortly after that and up until recently, I was playing with Boston based Singer/Songwriter Natalie Flanagan. I currently play bass with 4 truly great guys and totally stellar musicians in 5-Point. I've been fortunate to play in some great bands with some truly great musicians and will hopefully die with a bass in my hand and my wife by my side.
Who I'd like to meet: Morons, psychopaths and mental defectives. I think fellow musicians fall well into most if not all of those categories!! I have to know or like you, your band before I'll add you as a friend.
*******PLEASE NOTE - Wannabe Strippers/Porn Stars/Suicide Girls and Mypace Whores & bands looking for that 1 millionth friend, please pass me by. If your band lists Dave Mathews, Nickelback or some other dreadful radio friendly drek as an influence, move on immediately. EMO BANDS ESPECIALLY!!!
I will be super busy doing overtime for the Holidays so I wanna leave my comments now! May you and yours have a most excellent time this season and love you lots! FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!!
