I am a very proud single mom and grandmom that the kids call Mema.I have been an RN for 31 years. I was a Nominee for Nurse of Distinction 9 years ago for NY State. That was a great honor to me. I love country music. Country music is true to the soul as well as filled with meaning.I have gone to more country concerts then I can count. My kids have grown and gone their own ways. Sure we've had our moments but who hasn't. I believe that God determines who walks into your life,its up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay and who you refuse to let go of. Can't say I'm perfect. We ALL have skeletons in our closets,however, I can finally say I'm content with my past and finally at peace with myself. I've moved on from that. Life is short for so much drama, some need to be real and get over it. I've always loved like I should and will continue to do so.
In the mean time I WILL STAND MY GROUND!!! Someone once told me that you can give your kids a map but they will pick the road they travel. I have learned that true strength is holding it all together when everyone else expects you to fall apart. Not this time because I know I am right. Life is perseverance, self denial,hard work, sacrifices, dedication, respect for authority and standing by your decisions even if that means LOSING THOSE YOU LOVE.
We've all made mistakes and have learned from them. It's hard being a single mom no doubt, however courage is my ally. There is strength in struggles sometimes it's difficult to come face to face with them. You feel like you are trying but can't hold on anymore. It's then that you need to believe in yourself. I've learned to never stop believing in myself for I know that better days are going to come once more.(AND THEY HAVE) These are the days we need to watch out for because life is what happens while you are busy making other plans. I don't think you can better yourself if you don't screw up once in a while.
Regardless what happens I will continue to stand my ground for what I believe in. Just remember what ever comes around goes around and it has started and Im loving it !!! Time to sit back and enjoy the ride (AND I WILL) !!!!!!!!

yea i need pants i only got 3 new pairs and only one old pair fits so hopeful sometime soon i dont h2 work sundays anymore so maybe a saturday night you could pick me up or something and we can go shopping sunday morning and then you can bring me bac home or something cause mom hates shopping lol
