Texte sind wieder angesagt und die Musik muss nicht mehr in Form eines hyperbolischen Trends daher kommen. Das dachten sich auch die Eight Legs und so kann man sich neben der bekannten jugendlichen Ironie zum Thema Beziehungen auch über Texte mit Querverweisen zu früh-ästhetischem Kino und 60er-Jahre Dokumentarromanen freuen. Schon im Titel ihres zweiten Studioalbums "The Electric Kool-Aid Cuckoo Nest" ist einer enthalten. Aber auch vom 1-2-3-Los-gehts!-Indie verabschiedet man sich allmählich. support: THE BETH EDGES (AUT)
