Band Members
Barry Bales (Lead Guitar/Vocals): Barry has performed world-wide with Mel Tillis and the Statesiders, Moe Bandy and the Americana Band, in the Grand Ol’ Opry, and at the Ryman Auditorium. Barry has also made several appearances on national television, in many Branson shows, and is a regular in recording studios all over the country.
Scott Riley (Bass Guitar/Vocals): Scott was born to proud parents George and Clara Riley of Wylie, Texas, owners of the Wylie Opry House. At the age of nine, Scott learned to play the drums and, over the next ten years, taught himself to play every instrument on the stage. Scott attributes his inspiration and passion for music to Grand Ol' Opry stars such as Jim Ed Brown, Johnny lee, Charlie Louvin, and Justin Tubb, to name a few. In his spare time, Scott is an accomplished pilot.
Tony Carson (Keyboard/Vocals): As the son of noted songwriter and recording artist Alice Fay, Tony was raised in a musical family. He began playing the bass guitar at the age of eight and progressed to the piano soon after. By fourteen, Tony was getting regular work in local recording studios. Fresh out of high school, Tony was hired to play the piano for R.L. Finley. He also performed with Marty Colburn and toured for eleven years with Labeled Artists. In 1992, tired of lengthy tours, Tony began working in Branson, Missouri, and Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and, six years later, signed with Okahrossa Records in Nashville. Under Okahrossa's banner, he released three singles from his album, "My Heart Still Jumps for Joy," throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. For over twenty-five years, Tony has been a successful songwriter and has shared the stage with artists including Jean Shepard, Shanandeah, Ferlin Husky, Joe Diffe, and Mickey Gilley. He has worked on several hundred national television broadcasts and recording sessions. Since 1994, Tony has been a BMI songwriter and has his own publishing company, RealFurMusic. Good Lord willing, he will have many more successful years in this crazy business that he loves.
Jimmy Raschel (Sax, Flute/Vocals): Jimmy began his professional career in Niles, Michigan, where the Old Dixie Highway ended and R&B and country artists came to work during the Motown era. It is from these talented musicians - musicians like B.B. King, Fats Domino, Little Richard, and Benny Goodman - that Jimmy learned the technique that has made him one of the top horn players in the country. The son of a famous big band leader with the same name, Jimmy has performed in all fifty states and over a dozen foreign countries.
Derek Walker (Drummer/Vocals): Derek has played in a variety of shows over the years, including the Jim Stafford Show, the Silver Dollar Saloon at Silver Dollar City, and with the Norris Twins in Las Vegas, regulars with the Baldknobbers in Branson, Missouri. Derek has been on the road with two-time Grammy Award winner Jeannie Kendall for several years and has also appeared on Hee Haw. Derek, his wife, and three beautiful daughters call Branson home.
