About me:
Grudge Rock is a monthly night at the Re-Bar that is a combo game show and music night.WHAT'S GRUDGE ROCK?
The first thursday of every month, Prof. Jake Stratton (former BloodHag vocalist as well as announcer for The Rat City RollerGirls, WXPFL Pencil Fighting and SST) hosts two of the top bands in Seattle as they go head-to-head playing the classic game show Family Feud, with the added twist that all the questions are music-related.
A GAME SHOW? WHAT DO THEY WIN?
Nothing less than ALL THE DOOR MONEY! Yes, folks, one band will win all the door money and their name on the Grudge Rock Plaque of Fame, one band will lose and get FABULOUS CONSOLATION PRIZES, and BOTH BANDS WILL PLAY MUSIC!
HOW DO YOU PLAY?
Here's how it works: We play the first half of "The Feud" (approx. 20 minutes). Whichever band is in the lead at the end of the half gets to choose whether to play their set first or second. The bands place on the card has nothing to do with whether they win the money, however. The band that has the most points at the end of the second half is the winner, taking home the grand prize: ALL THE DOOR MONEY! The other band gets FABULOUS CONSOLATION PRIZES! And of course the real winners are the members of our LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE!
Once again, mark the first thursday of every month on your calendar so you'll remember to head down to the Re-Bar and join our live studio audience! Are you ready to Grudge Rock?! Tickets for Grudge Rock are available at the door and in advance at www.brownpapertickets.com

WANNA WATCH?I'd like to meet folks who want to be a part of our studio audience the first wednesday of every month at the Re-Bar! Sorry, kids. It's an adult affair, twenty-one and up! Price will be $8, doors open at 9pm, Grudge Rock starts at 10pm!

We also want to meet bands who want to compete and perform and have fun playing GRUDGE ROCK!
