Johnny had many infuences. In his words: "I'm partial to punk rock, but my faverites are many- THE CLASH, DEAD KENNEDIES, THE DAMNED, FEAR, MINOR THREAT (once a year in January), BLACK FLAG, THE VILLAGE PEOPLE, OLD SKULL, NOFX, MDC, ODML, C3PO, R2D2...and then I likes me some 70's music too: HEART, BILLY SQUIER, FOGHAT, NAZARETH (only on sundays),KISS, CHEAP TRICK, BOSTON, 38 SPECIAL, SKYNNARD, THE OUTLAWS, BAREFOOT JERRY, CHARLIE DANIELS, CRAZY HORSE, VAN FUKKIN HALEN, ZEPPELIN, ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND, MUNGO JERRY, WISHBONE ASH, THIN LIZZY, RUSH, TRIUMPH STEELY DAN, B.O.C., B.T.O., B.L.T., F.U.C.K. Y.O.U... AND THE LIST GOES ON. I likes me sum 80's too: DURAN DURAN, HALL AND OATES, DOOBIE BROTHERS, DEF LEPPARD ANYTHING ON LIVE AID, METALLICA, EXODUS, VENOM, SAGA, HEAVY FUKKIN METAL...I'm a fan of lots of music. Even the 90's are good: PEARL JAM, SOUNDGARTEN, MUDHOUNEY, ALICE AND CHAINS, PEARL JAM, CREED (only on Sundays), STOME TENPLE PILOTS, AND NIRVANA TOO. I was blessed to be lef-handed like Curt Cobain. Lef-handers do it better !!! "
About me:
Johnny Skolfuk, a genius in his own right and wrong, sadly passed away on July 22nd of kidney failure in Portland Oregon. He is best remembered for his 4 o'clock rock performances at The Sunset Tavern over the past five years, and also occasional performances and benefits at places like The Funhouse, The Rebar, and Jules Maes in Seattle. He leaves behind a big hole to be filled, for those who got his sense of humor left his performances feeling whole, and those who didn't...well, they're just plain 'holes'!!
