♠BIO♠
OLIVIA BALZAR nasce in Brasile nel 1984 da genitori italiani. La sua prima culla è stata un'amaca, ma è tornata ben presto in Italia.
Si sente come un’ Alice metropolitana che scruta con occhio critico il pianeta terra, alla continua ricerca del suo Paese delle Meraviglie. Ama scrivere fin da piccola e vede la poesia come “l’ancora di tristi notti altrimenti trascorse a dialogare col nulla”. Ha partecipato a numerosi concorsi di poesia e nella primavera del 2006 ha pubblicato con Libro Italiano Editore un libro dal titolo “Pioggia di novembre”, dove sono raccolte le sue migliori poesie scritte nell’arco di sette anni. Si dedica anche alla prosa. Ama il lato oscuro del mondo e lo si può notare dai suoi componimenti. Adora Charles Baudelaire, Jim Morrison e Stephen King.
Laureata in Linguaggi dei Media all’Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, sta frequentando il Master di Giornalismo e Critica Musicale presso il CPM di Milano. Ha lavorato come stagista presso "Fashion-il settimanale italiano della moda"dall'agosto 2007 fino a febbraio 2008. Vive tra Vercelli e Milano.
