Here's a download for all of our friends and fans that never got a chance to hear these unreleased songs - enjoy! Semi-Automatic Unreleased Tracks
We would like to thank Jason Ludwig and Saving Ray and all the people who came out to support us at the reunion show! Thanks to your support, a dollar-match from one of the band member's employer and the generous donation by the bar staff, we were able to send $900 to the Red Cross for hurricane relief!
And the show ROCKED!
Radio interview!Listen to the talking part of Semi-Automatic's radio interview with the lovely Venemous Valdez on her Live City Licks show, where media whore Matt promotes the upcoming reunion show on WAIF 88.3.

To put it briefly, this band will rock your face off.
Conceived as a result of a couple of songs written on a computer, bass, guitar and caffiene, guitarist Chuck Davis (Circus of the Sun), drummer Dave Becknell (Circus of the Sun) and bassist Matt Parmenter (Chicago's Hi-Fi and the Roadburners and Colla Destra) were soon joined by guitarist Sean Saatkamp (Kid Valance) and vocalist/guitarist John Lancaster (West Virginia's Chum).
Bringing influences from a wide variety of stylistic backgrounds, Semi-Automatic has melded their diverse influences into a coherent whole and created a world class debut release, an impressive live DVD and limited release EP.
Semi-Automatic succumbed to the attrition of life that pulls so many people in different directions. Dave Becknell and Chuck Davis are now playing with Bronson Arroyo, John Lancaster is back in West Virginia with the impressive Earth To Eros, Sean Saatkamp is working on being a ninja in the north, and Matt Parmenter is running a recording studio in Cincinnati, soon to be moved to Austin, Texas.
Screaming Kings will be tearing it up at The Southgate House on Friday February the 15th. We’ve got 3 sweet opening acts that you can’t miss! Doors are at 9pm and tickets are $6. Hope you can rock out with us!
hey Texas Twister. uhm. thanks for putting us in the top friends of our own band! hee hee. looking forward to seeing everybody and attempting to bring the RAWK.
I suppose you're right - hadn't given the top friends much thought (I wasn't on it either). It's a little more organized - some supporters, some bands we've played with, and lots of associated projects. Now will you stop pestering me?? Sheesh!!
Hey guys! Although the website is no more, I'm glad this stuff is online for folks to hear. A little hard-rocking never hurt nobody.
Chuck is a living guitar god, Dave is the embodiment of percussive doom, Matt is diabolically down-low and bassalicious, and John and "Destruct-Sean" were so dangerous they had to leave Cincinnati by Simon Leis' order. Thanks for the add, and I'll see y'all September 2!
Hello fellow Cincy rockers!
Thanks for finding/adding us!
Hopefully we can hook up some shows sometime, even though we're two very different sounding bands!
