About me: Enjoying MySpace since January 31, 2005.
I'm originally from Hawaii. Graduated High School at Denver East High in '78 (sophomore and junior years at Denver's St. Regis HS). Studied Advertizing Design at the Colorado Institute of Art.
Today I'm an artist specializing in murals (see a couple examples in "view more pics"). Spent 20 years of my life in the restaurant business as a host, bartender, and manager (Rick's cafe, Rick's Blue Water Grille, and Chopper's Sports Grill - all in the same location in Cherry Creek, Denver).
I've loved and supported local music in Colorado since 1976. Created Local Music Network Of Patrons (LMNOP) Colorado in 1995 to help promote Denver's music scene. Established LMNOPCO.com for the world wide web with the help of a friend who builds websites. Created RockOnColorado.com with this same friend in the spring of 2003 to further share my love for music and the artists who create it, thru all the pictures we get of them.
Still serving on the entertainment committee for the CHUN Capitol Hill People's Fair for over a decade, as well as the nominating committee for Westword Music Showcase. Served on the board of directors for the Colorado Music Association for 2 years (President from June 2002-June 2003). Worked closely with several Colorado artists including Shauna Strecker (Western Vogue) of Katoorah Jayne, Nina Storey, Liz Clark, Michelle and the Book Of Runes, Kristina Ingham, and Lauren Michael. Currently painting murals around the country, as well as supporting and contributing to Colorado Music Buzz Magazine.
Hope to always share my love for art and Colorado's amazing music makers with the world!
Who I'd like to meet: Bono, Steven Spielberg, Joni Mitchell, Quincy Jones, Sean Penn, Yusef Islam (Cat Stevens), Liv Tyler, Nelson Mandela, Aaron Sorkin, Laura Linney, and Elyse Knox Harmon.
