Rockosaurus Rex are taking their task seriously, offering some sweet, melodic guitar licks; their version of “Mary Had a Little Lamb” may well replace Wings’ version as the definitive rock take on the song.

Ridiculously heavy-metal interpretations of children's music standards like "This Old Man" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider" prove that loud, in-your-face rock is not extinct.

This Old Man" translates to arena rock, complete with screeching guitar solo and lead vocals worthy of Beelzebub. Ayun Halliday "Author of No Touch Monkey!" www.babble.com
This rock/heavy metal CD hits the spot, getting the balance absolutely right. If you prefer the traditional way they are sung then this is probably not for you. www.childrenswebmagazine.com

... and my apologies for not being around on here. I do check in on you but usually in "stealth mode". :) Having a rough time this past week and walking around like, well, like I've lost my best friend... She passed on Monday the 20th so things are a bit rough in my household. If you can believe it, not even really in the mood for music. Gotta keep going though, for the kids' sakes and for her family's sake. It's what she'd have done for me.
Anything new coming out soon??? Xander has really been grooving on your tunes lately with Ellie and their dad. Seems I can't ever get into the minivan without Big Bang in the CD player. Take care.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I hope you are all doing well. So... are we to expect something new from "RR" this year? Xander is really starting to get into "The Big Bang" and Ellie, of course, is still rocking to it! I swear that CD never seems leaves the player in the van.
It's all good. I know, it's a busy time of the year and two kids are more than a handful! Sounds like you had fun, ya big meanie... LOL! If we don't get the chance, Happy Thanksgiving wishes to you and "yours". We are thankful for "RR" so keep rockin'!
