What is it? A chance for guitarists, bassists, drummers and vocalists to be an active part of a performing rock band. How does it work? Anyone can register to join a band. A rock school instructor will conduct eight one-hour rehearsals with each band in order to prepare for the final rock concert at the end of every nine week session. How much does it cost? Rock School of Pittsburgh was a former program of Guitars Plus located in Wexford, PA. Since Guitars Plus closed its doors in September of this year and because of the dedication of the students, parents and instructors; I had decided to give this program a shot outside of a retail environment. I’m happy to say that Rock School of Pittsburgh is a huge success, we’re less than a week away from Rocking the Hard Rock and baring a few minor details everything seems to be in place.
