Welcome to the official Myspace page of Rockstaa. I am an independent artist from NH. I started becoming interested in music at a young age, playing various instruments, however, in 8th grade I started singing and it has become a huge part of my life since then. I had a solo in every concert since sophomore year and am proud to say I was part of the few who are accepted into the All-State Chorus. After high school, I competed in The NH Idol Competition and made it into the top 40 out of the 400 people that auditioned. Recently, I have begun recording, writing and producing my own songs and beats. I have created four original songs, "Can U Handle It?" "Tonight", "Music is the Heart of Our Soul," and "Stranger Than Fiction." I am extremely excited about the success of these songs with "Music is the Heart of Our Soul" having almost 1500 downloads in a little over 4 days. "Can U Handle It?" has been played a local club and I have been mentioned on a popular radio station Jamn945. I plan to have a 10 song album available for download on Itunes very soon and will also be sending out demos to various Labels hoping for the best.
The fifth song that I am pleased to announce is "Runnin The Show". This song was done with Tyler Fiore. He is another independent artist on myspace. You can find him at myspace.com/tylerfiore. He came to me with the idea of doing a song together. I obviously accepted. There were a few obstacles, seeing as we live on opposite sides of the United States, but it was well worth it. The concept behind the song is that we are both artists trying to break through into the mainstream and "Run the Show". Jkeys was the amazing producer who made one of the sickest beats on the planet. Tyler and I co-wrote the lyrics and I did all of the mixing. We hope to have great success with this song and we hope everyone enjoys it. BUY IT ON ITUNES HERE:
"Music is The Heart of Our Soul" was inspired by a blog i visit regularly that was created and run by Vicki. I met some new people on there Sierra, and Willz and the song is basically about Vickis blog, and some inside jokes. I created a hot beat for it and wrote the song all in about an hour and a half!
"Stranger Than Fiction" is one of my favorites! The song is again, completely original, and it's about how fame make life stressful, pressured and surreal and yet people are still desperate to be a part of it.
"Let Go" is a brand new song! I am really proud of it. All vocals are mine, but what's different about this song (as well as Tonight Remixed and Girl at The Club) than any of my others is that producers made the beats. EMotionL Productions made the beat to this song and I instantly knew I had to use it, so thank you to him/her :)!!!
"Tonight Remixed" is actually an original song of mine, I just put it to a new beat! The fantastic killer beat is courtesy of Blackfrost from WHP. Thank you!!!
"Girl At The Club (I Fell In Love)"..I would have to say this is different for me. I've been experimenting a lot with different styles of music, but I have to say this song is at the top of my list right now :) Thank you to the anonymous Producer for the beat!!!
"Crazy" is my newest track! This song will be the final song to complete my iTunes release set for the next couple of months! I enjoyed recording this song because I didn't use any auto-tune on my main vocal!! So you guys can hear my voice the way it actually sounds :)!!!
