OUR NEXT SHOW IS AT:
Augies Bar and Grill December 11-12th!
Sometimes, cosmic things happen. Two former bandmates, separated for years by life's journey, run into each other out of the blue. An old friendship is rekindled, memories are shared, and the longing to start playing again emerges. "Wouldn't it be great to just get a couple of other friends, learn some songs, and play some corner bar for the heck of it just to have some fun?" This is how it started.
Three other friends from days gone by were invited into the idea. The songs were all over the map. Whatever anyone wanted to play, they played. A couple of sessions in, something wasn't right. The passion for the songs was not there. What was missing?
A discussion was had. What was the music that we grew up with and made us want to be rockstars? The Hair Band Music! The live shows! The energy and excitement of the 80's big hair, big show, big fun era. The song list was rewritten, show ideas were thrown into the mix, and soon, a little bar-band idea became what has grown into a phenomenon in Detroit - the Premier Hair Band Tribute Show that is RockStar!
Our album "Live At The Machine Shop" is available for sale at our live shows and at our main website and all proceeds go to Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, MI.
Hi Sweetie, You ROCK!!! Music and life go together. It is the connection to the soul.. Thank-you for the great friendship. Hope you have a wonderful day.
Wow! Another great show Saturday night in Flint. So great that I limped through this week trying to recover! Thanks again guys for allowing old timers like me to relive a lot of those high school memories live and loud!! We brought 10 more RockStar virgins to the show Satruday night. Each and every one of them are making plans for December 26th when you rock this town once again. Do you think Santa will take back our presents once he sees how naughty we all act at the show?

Just got my air guitar back from the shop. It's all fixed and ready to jam this Saturday night. We're bringing a bunch of friends to the show so they can witness how rock-n-roll is done. That, and Melissa guaranteed them that they'll laugh their asses off when I lose myself in the music and try to dance. We put the word out on facebook and have hooked a lot of friends that we haven't seen in years. I told them if they think the songs RockStar has on their profile page rock, wait until you hear their version of Don't Stop Believin'. It f*cking RAAAAAWWWWKS! We are all fiiiiired up! (can you tell?) Can't wait for another 3 hour therapy session courtesy of ROCKSTAR!!! That one guitar, felt good in his hands...juke box hero, he'll come alive tonight!
