We’re the Lisas, two chicks with an idea and a camera dedicated to helping the youth and keeping music alive!
It takes a multitude of behind the scenes support people to make IT happen, because making it to the top isn’t a one-man show or an overnight success. Our mission is to be one of those people who does whatever is necessary to help up and coming bands get noticed and signed. We promote and provide exposure to these bands, so that the industry professionals will take notice and become aware of their existence.
It is a tremendously challenging time to be in the music business. The competition is fierce and industry professionals are bogged down with numerous emails, CDs and myspace pages. It is virtually impossible for them to sift through all of the material and find that one band that has the X- factor. The filming of our documentary has opened many doors for us and we have been fortunate in gaining the trust and respect of those involved in the music business. We have proven that we have a good ear and eye for musical talent and our industry contacts have come to value our recommendations.
Since the inception of the documentary we have been searching for our own bands to feature and, as a result have uncovered several extremely talented musicians worldwide. So, be on the lookout for the Lisas, because you never know when they’ll be at your next performance, checking out your myspace page or sharing your music with an industry professional.
Our love and passion for music has catapulted us further than we could have ever imagined. We love what we do and life is beautiful!

We like all kinds of music. Music is the universal language but of course, our hearts belong to Rock-n-Roll. We are Rockers all the way baby!
About me: “Rockstar Reality” is a documentary film that features several up and coming young musicians and talented bands. As we document their journey to rock stardom, we are taking you into their lives, as they share their hopes, dreams, fears and frustrations.
We are also interviewing industry professionals. They are discussing what it takes to “make it” in the music business and how it’s changed, as well as critiquing the music of our bands. They are giving advice, sharing their own personal stories and explaining how they became experts in the music industry.
Then there’s the Rock Star’s point of view. We are interviewing musicians who have been there, done it and have been successful in their careers. This is an excellent opportunity for musicians, to “Give Back” by drawing from their vast expertise and knowledge. Since they have the benefit of both hindsight and experience, this allows them to give nuggets of advise, share inspirational stories and offer helpful information that may make the journey of a young musician a bit smoother.
Last but not least, we are documenting the awaking of the Sunset Strip, as well as the Southern California music scene. We are capturing live performances, fresh off of the strip interviews and behind the scenes footage of what it takes to make it.
