About me:
ten facts about me:
1. i don't like talking about myself, which is what i'm doing now. but i'm only doing this because i feel obliged to. i don't like talking about myself though because i'm afraid i will say the wrong thing.
2. i care about people a lot. even though many have done me wrong and will continue to do so, i can't help but care. i would do anything for a friend. or anyone in need. if i can help you, i will go out of my way to do so. i love to help people. i have undying loyalty to them.
3. i like giving. i'd rather give a gift than recieve one. i like it because i just like knowing that i've made someone happy... it's the best feeling in the world.
4. i like to know stuff. like trivia, or random facts. i just like knowing about things. and learning. i strive to learn and to be good. i feel really bad when i don't understand something.
5. not many people have experienced the mean side of me, but some have. i was mean because you hurt my feelings. truthfully, underneath the bitchiness, i'm really sad and hurt. i care no matter how much i say i don't. if i ever say or have said i hate you, it's because i loved you and you hurt me.
6. i don't like it when people tear me down. i think i'm a good person. why would anyone want to do that? they focus on my faults. and i keep those closer than i ever would a compliment. i dwell on those things and try to change them. this goes back to me wanting to make people happy. i do not think i am arrogant at all...
7. the only thing i am proud of about me is my ability to write. in 8th grade, we had to write a descriptive essay to see how well we (eighth graders) write. well, mr. walker said mine was the best, so he copied it and read it to the class. in my freshman year, mrs. ujich told us to write a short story and pick a topic out of the six she listed. i was, again, told mine was the best. and in my junior year, mr. bedwell had us write a persuasive essay, and he said mine was the best. i'm positive without a doubt that i want a career that has to do with writing. i love it.
8. i want out. i don't hate tennessee. i am actually very fond of this place. but i just want something different. someplace interesting. someplace rich in history. (i know tennessee has some history, but it's not a lot). i just want a change of scenery.
9. if i have a relationship with you (friend or significant other), believe me when i say i love you. because i do. with everything in me. that's another thing about me, i always give it my all in everything. friends, boyfriends, etc. i strive to be the best. and it hurts when others don't return as much effort. if i have told you that you're my best friend, i would do anything for you.
10. i have a problem with trust. BIG problem. i'd like to believe in the best of people, but i just can't. in poor richard's almanac, two statements are made that i keep near and dear. "three can keep a secret if two are already dead." and "if you don't want an enemy to hear your secret, tell it not to a friend." some people i won't trust at all. some i trust with certain things. i'm not sure if there's anyone i trust FULLY. i always have my doubts even if i don't voice them.
i am both happy and sad, and i'm still trying to figure out how this could be.
