Rockstarz is a Belgian artist/producer-duo, born in the summer of 2006. Back then, both members were deejaying at local parties and clubs. Although they both played different styles of music, the two met regularly in the nightlife scene. When summer season arrived they were asked to make a festival anthem, which became their first collaboration. An interesting experience as they were both working with different equipment, software and techniques.

At that time, Electro-House music became big, causing a new wave through the Belgian clubbing scene. Pumpy Electro basslines combined with House, Rock or Disco filled the dancefloors & yes.. deejays became ‘Rockstarz’ ...

Influenced by this electro house movement, they soon found their project name and started working on their first release. Some old LP-records were dusted off, including the worldfamous discomedley ‘Stars on 45’. The Cheerful disco vocals & catchy whip sound were sampled and remade into a dancefloor killer. After the track appeared on their myspace, it caught the attention of labels such as N.E.W.S & Toolroom Records. The track was eventually signed on Spinnin’ Records, Tiger Records & Gallo South Africa. Appearing on various compilations from Universal, Kontor, KNM, Magic...

2007 was all about the gigs, rockin’ Belgiums biggest events & clubs. Meeting, remixing & working with other artists from the scene. Later that year Rockstarz also produced the anthem ‘Make love not War’ for Belgium’s biggest dance event ‘Cityparade‘.

Time flies and it’s already late 2008 when the starz move back to their studio. This time they are remixing 'Groovewatchers - High Level', a massive dance floor monster that gets picked up by French superstar dj Joachim Garraud, who plays it worldwide on his gigs & on his Radioshow ZeMIXX in France. The track also appears on Garraud's Space Party Compilation & the Toolroom Knights Compilation.

By the end of 2009 another bomb is coming out of the speakers. ‘Bass in your Face’ is an instant smash. Heard first on Garraud’s Zemixx Radioshow and licensed to EMI France to appear on the new Club FG 2010 Compilation! The complete ‘Bass in Your face’ package including remixes was released in June 2010 on beatport and immediately ended up in the ‘Electro House Top 20‘ Chart for more than 7 weeks.
