It all started when Gwen (Cyn Acevedo) joined a rock cover band in 2004. Some of the songs she sang with that band included No Doubt. She soon found she did a great impression of Gwen Stefani so she decided to start her own cover band figuring “why not make it a tribute to the coolest female fronted band yet? … No Doubt.”
Tom (Eric Kinney) was then recruited as lead guitarist. Eric has been working with Cyn in an original band, Resistant Me. Cyn noticed how good he was at picking up songs note for note and knew he’d be an amazing asset to the No Doubt tribute band.
Tony (Greg Ramirez) then joined. He was also recruited from original band Resistant Me. “Greg has a great sense of rhythm. His bass playing grooves and that’s exactly what we needed.” -Cyn.
With Adrian (Mike O) on drums they embody No Doubt. Mikes solid beats and great ear drive the energy of the band. RockSteady is sure to be the truest No Doubt Tribute band. They play all the hits and then some. With songs ranging from No Doubts’ early days to Gwen Stefanis’ solo career. Cyn Acevedo is Gwen Stefani while on stage. The band looks, feels and sounds like the real thing. RockSteady is not only the music and the fully decked out band members... it's a rockin' show too!
