Your business/organization will certainly benefit from being associated
with such a well-respected youth/community event as well as have a great
opportunity to reach a large, core-youth demographic.
We expect to have approximately 10 000 music lovers in attendance throughout the day, as was the case last year.
In 2007 more then half of the attendees were youth approximately aged 12-25, while most others were families.
RTM 2007 generated attention from local and national newspapers, local and national radio and music industry publications.
The official RTM 2008program will be black and white and will be distributed for free on the day of the event. Please note that the RTM committee may consider product/service equivalents
at the various sponsorship levels.

2009 marks the 12th Anniversary
of the City of Cambridge's Rock the Mill Youth Music Festival; RTM, a celebration of youth
artistic culture. The 12th Anniversary of Rock the Mill has been scheduled
to occur on
Saturday, August 8th, 2009 from 12:30 Noon until 11 PM at
Dickson Park.
Rock the Mill is a
FREE-admission show attended by thousands of youth and families. It begins
with performances by local youth talent and builds up to a headliner,
typically an act well positioned in the Canadian music scene. The festival also features the Subliminal Art Exhibit, Vendors and much more.
In 2007 we had over 30 bands on 4 stages, and in 2008 Rock The Mill had a fantastic lineup. Unfortunately the 2008 festival was called early due to an electrical storm and tornado warnings in the area. 2009 promises to provide the fantastic vibe that only an outdoor live music festival can bring.
You can stay updated on all details for this years festival at www.rockthemill.ca
RTM is the
only established event of its kind in the Tri-City, and strives to provide
an opportunity for local youth to perform as well as to provide an
entertaining showcase of music for the community, in a safe, alcohol and
drug free environment.
This summer, the show will grow again as it will move from its outgrown-home
in the Mill Race Park and move into Dickson Park. We expect to have
approximately 10 000 music lovers in attendance throughout the day, as was the case last year.
The festival now holds a firm place in the southern Ontario summer music
schedule. Rock the Mill 2007 generated attention from local and national newspapers,
local and national radio and music industry publications.
The event had music industry professionals in attendance representing The Agency Group, EMI Music: A&R Department, Chris Smith Management, Dine Alone Records, Underground Operations and more getting a free preview of what the Tri-City and surrounding area has to offer.

Hi there Rock the Mill first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark www.tthlabel.com so that in the even that we do close our myspace account you will not lose contact with us. Thanks again for being our myspace pal!
