ROCK THE NIGHT (RTN) is Scandinavia’s without a doubt wildest and biggest Hard Rock discoteque. RTN has its base at THE ROCK in the center of Copenhagen, Denmark and are being held approximately every 6th week, only broken by a longer summer break. The music is primarily ‘hit orientated’ 80’s and 80’s inspired glam, sleaze and classic metal.
THE RTN CRÜE, which is the team behind RTN, counts main man LOVE GUN and his sidekick MISS COCKROCK.
Apart from these two a group of people are working both on stage and on the side of the stage with stuff like fixing the ‘on stage’ effects, making of the unique POSTERS for every event and photographing the hot and cool RTN POSTER GRRLS, who are found among the most dedicated of the RTN audience.
An RTN is a party with very few limits and with an aestetic found in the dreamland of the 80’s glam/sleaze culture. On stage are, aside from the two DJ’s making up THE RTN CRÜE, THE RTN GO GO GRRLS, THE RTN BUTLER DWARF, fire, pyrotechnics, dry ice, light show, visual show and in more present time the evenings are started out with handpicked international and national RTN APPROVED bands. So far the following bands can write RTN APPROVED on their resume:

ROCK THE NIGHT – THE LONGER VERSION
RTN started out as a small event for some hopeful friends and the most dedicated, but in time it has grown to be a huge Copenhagen cult phenomenon with several hundred guests every time. RTN is also a controversial cultur that a lot of people love and some love to hate. That is real ROCK N ROLL! RTN has existed for almost three years and has been created from a vision of the ultimate party. RTN has not been brought into this world to please everybody and the contents of RTN has never been decided by counting votes.
RTN is today an institution that is recognized by thousands of Danes, but it has also gained a big audience in Sweden and the rest of the world through MySpace and YouTube, where the newly released RTN - THE MOVIE has already excited and offended thousands of curious souls around the world. RTN is both very non-Danish, because of the not so strong Rock n Roll music culture in Denmark, but it is also very clearly Danish as the unique content, the loose spirit and the amoral behaviour is allowed by the lovely Danish broad-mindedness and liberal legislation.
RTN has been in several larger and smaller medias through articles, reviews and interviews in Ekstra Bladet, Berlingske Tidende, Politiken, Urban, Metro Express Metalized, NRG, Heavyjam.dk, Oxygen, danishmetal, Gaffa, Tidens Kvinder, Where2Go etc.
