Deniz'in ilk vokal denemesi nr1 müzigin dikkatini cekince, ilk albüm "Tamam Sustum" geldi(1999). Ardindan gelen canli performans tecrübeleri, ikinci albümleri "Tatli sert"in yapilmasinda büyük etken oldu. 2003 basinda Mert Koral'in Ayrilmasi ile iki kisi kalan Vega, ayni yil icerisinde "Hafif müzik" albümünün calismalarina basladi. 2004 Eylül ayinda Serkan Hökenek ve Tugrul Akyüz produktorlugu kendileri yapma karari ile masa basina oturdu.
