James Black – Guitar and Hammond

James Black has played with some of the most influential musicians in Australian rock history, such as Joe Camilleri and Joe Creighton as the Delta Revelators, Relax with Max, The Moonee Valley Drifters, The Crummy Cowboys, the Starliners, Russell Morris and Jo Jo Zep, the Falcons, and Mondo Rock. He has also toured the world with Men at Work and was a founding member of Ganggajang. Currently James regularly performs and records with the Black Sorrows, Deborah Conway, The Revelators, Dodge, Benny and the Fly By Nighters and of course the RocKwiz Orkestra. James also produces the music for the show.

Mark Ferrie – Bass

Mark Ferrie is a singer/songwriter from Melbourne. As a bass player, Mark gained fame in the Models, notoriety in the Sacred Cowboys and hearty slaps on the back for his work in Truckasaurus (with Lisa Miller), the Real McCoys and numerous other Melbourne bands. He currently fronts The Mercurials, a trio which also features guitar maestro Andrew Pendlebury plus cellist and vocalist Adi Sappir. Mark still plays bass for worthy projects such as The Renovators, A Moveable Feast (with Billy Miller and Stephan Fidock) and The JVG Guitar Method featuring Jon Von Goes, Ashley Davies and Dale Lindrea.

Peter “Lucky” Luscombe –Drums

Peter Luscombe (drummer/writer/producer) has played with Paul Kelly since ‘93. He has also played with The Black Sorrows, David McComb, Stephen Cummings, Renee Geyer, Michelle Shocked, Archie Roach, Christine Anu, Angie Hart, Rebecca's Empire, The Loved Ones and Kasey Chambers.

   About RocKwiz Orkestra
The RockWiz Orkestra provide the soundtrack for the greatest Rock trivia game show on the planet. RocKwiz is shot live in the legendary Gershwin Room at the Esplande Hotel in St Kilda (and then carefully edited so we look like we know what we are doing). RocKwiz features the band supporting two musical guests in solos, a hilarious trivia quiz and a show climaxing duet.

AUSSIE BUSHFIRES
there is a movement starting on myspace trying to help musicians affected by the bushfires, we are aiming to set up a network so muso's can donate equipment to those who have lost theirs.
we are hoping that the melbourne music community will pull together. We are setting up a data base and we need as many organisations, community radio stations, venues etc who know of musicians suffering to help.
please spread the word!!!
contact GLOBAL THUNDER NETWORK via myspace and stay posted.
This is happening right now!!
