ROCWELL: born in Florida, aka the Deep South, as he proclaims where the world may view this number one vacation spot in America. But to those who live here and for others who know what it really is and how it goes down, we know and respect its street given name, 'the gun down state' which is home to Rocwell (da hustla) and the foundation to this history in the making.
Rocwell, followed a different tune growing up and didn't play too much into the booty shaking, bass music in which most still reference as Florida music. The roots of Hip Hop itself is and was his best teacher and it shows. East Coast music caught his attention and with these vibes he began to developed into a well rounded artist lyrically and combined with his southern hospitality and witty delivery.
Rocwell towers over a crowd at 6'7" yet gets plenty of respect from underground to radio airwaves. Always giving you a message filled voice as he speaks, you will learn more of him through his experiences, life and memories in his music alone. With the energetic and charismatic southern slang, he flows with a twist of East Coast and deep vocal combination of well written lyrics to give you his marketable vibes of the one and only Rocwell can expose.
With goals and visions to establish and create an avenue for Florida to finally get its well awaited credit, Rocwell is determined to be successful through his plans, contributions and hard work. To carry Florida on his back is a huge task which will take much effort, the right team and an unbreakable gameplan- which his experiences and resources, drive and competitive spirits should be enough to allow a decent chance at conquering his goals and if successfully carried out, many eyes and ears will be tuned into these wetlands where so many inspiring artists of many genres lay hoping to make it one day, but the lack of resources, label support and marketability cripples the growth and potential dreams are shattered through times.
Recently releasing his first single off of ANGER MANAGEMENT, titled, "Lambogenidoze" feat. Biggz, this statement alone shows where he's heading and how he plans on doing it. Declaring FL the 'Chevy capital of the World", it is evident of this potential, but then view his self directed video and it paints a picture that leaves you in amazement. His second single to release this summer, "Mean Muggin',features Haitian Fresh and Southstar and highlights how so many hate on others success. This club banger will be an eye opener and make many wake up or move to the side, this year is his time to shine.
